Board of Adjustment
The Salix Board of Adjustment consists of five members as determined by City Council and hold staggering term limits. All members are volunteer, serving their communtiy without any compensation, and appointed by council.

The Board of Adjustment reviews and votes on variance and appeals from zoning ordinances and applications of conditional or temporary use permits. Before an appeal, variance or conditional use permit is filed with the Board of Adjustment, the applicant shall pay a fee according to the Schedule of Fees outlined by Resolution. The Board of Adjustment shall fix a reasonable time for a hearing on the appeal, variance or conditional use permit, give public notice and due notice to the parties of interest and decide the same within a reasonable timeframe. At the hearing, any party may appear in person, or by agent or attorney.
