Building Permits & Inspections

The City of Salix strives to assist you with your construction project in an efficient and accountable manner.  The building inspector is responsible for permitting all construction and conducting inspections of all construction-related permits as well as issuance of Certificates of Occupancy.

Building permits are required on new builds and remodels.  To obtain a permit, simply download the forms below or give us a call and we will be happy to provide you with the necessary forms.  

Note:  Failing to obtain a building permit can result in fines.  If you are unsure whether you need a building permit, contact City Hall for clarification.
